Product Details
The sway bar is 1.00" solid steel (25.4MM).

What a sway bar does:
A sway bar is usually a torsional spring that resists body roll motions. It is usually constructed out of a U-shaped piece of steel that connects the left and right sides of the suspension. If the left and right wheels move together, the bar just rotates about its mounting points and does not bend. If the wheels move relative to each other, the bar is forced to twist.

The bar resists the bending through its stiffness. The stiffness of an anti-roll bar is based on the fourth power of its diameter.  The Turbo Tech Racing rear sway bar is 66% stiffer than other 22MM rear sway bars on the market.

The rear sway bar for the Chevrolet Cobalt/HHR 2005-11 (Also fits all "SS" models) Saturn Redline/Ion 2004-10 comes standard powder coated in Red or Black.  Other colors are avaliable for a small upgrade charge.

Review of product: Quick install, HUGE immediate improvement to any stock HHR not already equipped. Install the TTR BEFORE doing any other upgrade/mod if all else is good stock. NOTHING else will make such a dramatic improvement in the ride and handling, and immediately noticeable. Best upgrade that I have found, as performance is nothing without handling.
